Considerations for Displaying Art on Your Smart TV
Unfortunately, screen burn-in has been an issue for some. Screen burn-in is the permanent discoloration of parts of your screen. Though I personally haven’t experienced it, here are a few steps you can take to stop burn-in if you are worried about it:
Change the artwork often to lower the risk of burn-in. Don't leave the same image on for too long. Refreshing the art helps prevent any single picture from causing damage.
Adjusting your TV’s brightness also helps. Lower brightness means less harm from light to your screen. Also, using your TV's screen saver adds extra protection against burn-in.
Smart TVs, unlike frame TVs, aren't built for art 24/7. So, it's wise to show art on your TV sometimes, like during parties or to set a mood. Doing so allows you to display art safely and keep your TV healthy.
